Bandit is a 3 month old pitbull puppy who was savagely beaten to death on January 1, 2011 Witnesses heard the puppy yelping in pain from a hotel room at the Traveler’s Inn of the 1900 block of Douglas Street. Victoria Police were called at 1:00 am and arrived to find Bandit on the hotel bed not moving and surrounded by dog feces and bloody towels which were all over the hotel room. The puppy was brought by the police to an Emergency Veterinary hospital but died of internal injuries and broken bones. There is a publication ban on the name of the man who is charged with killing Bandit, as well as animal cruelty and and violating court orders. (Though it has been mentioned in various news casts and reports) This is to create awareness of Bandit’s brutal assault and to keep those interested up to date on this case. ( Our sincerest condolences to the actual owner of this poor little baby. No living thing should have to endure suffering like he did. Your pain must be immense and we are so sorry you have to go through this.)
