LOS ANGELES - URGENT!!!! This poor guy has no chance of getting adopted from the shelter because 
unfortunately he has been labeled as “AGGRESSIVE” for showing his little
tiny teeth! He is just a very tiny (all of about 4 lbs) SCARED boy who
is OVERWHELMED at the shelter. He needs a PATIENT loving person to 
show him humans can be TRUSTED. He is kenneled with several other dogs 
and seems more secure around his own pack. Once he feels safe and 
comfortable with you, his body relaxes and he will bury his head into 
your body to hide from the world. Won’t you give him a chance? This 4 
year old boy has so much potential to blossom in a CALM loving home with
another FRIENDLY dog or two or three to show him the way.

you are able to rescue or adopt, please call and visit the Baldwin Park 
shelter with a martingale collar (a no slip collar) as he can be SKITTISH and will try to GET OUT of a regular collar. Thank you so

I got an email about helping a chihuahua that is currently being held at OCAS in quarantine due to a coyote attack. He has received antibiotics for his injury which has healed, but there no confirmation that he has had a rabies shot. If we can’t get him a foster by 9/13 he will probably be euthanized.

Because the owners never claimed him and there is no proof of rabies, they have to treat his situation as a “Rabies Threat”. He has shown no signs of being sick while under quarantine. He is eating well, his stools are fine and he shows no
signs of stress. There hasn’t been a case of rabies found in a coyote or dog in like thirty years, but I guess they have to follow the rules.
